7. Information We Process for Dealership and Business Clients
A significant portion of CR Advertising’s work involves processing information on behalf of dealership and business clients. In those situations, the client generally determines the purposes and means of the campaign and CR Advertising processes information to provide the requested services.
Our processing may include preparing direct-mail audiences, working with customer or prospect lists, sending or coordinating email and text campaigns, supporting digital advertising, integrating leads or campaign activity with CRM systems, and measuring campaign response.
When we process personal information solely on behalf of a client, our use of that information may be governed by our agreement with that client and the client’s own privacy obligations. If your request concerns information we maintain solely for a client, we may direct you to that client or assist the client in responding as required by applicable law.
8. Email and Text Message Communications
We may send business and marketing emails to clients and prospective clients where permitted by law. Marketing emails will include an available method to unsubscribe from future promotional emails.
When CR Advertising sends or supports text message marketing, messaging is conducted for the applicable campaign and subject to the consent, disclosure, opt-out, and other requirements that apply to that campaign. Recipients may use the opt-out instructions included with the applicable message or campaign. Transactional, project-related, or legally required communications may continue where appropriate.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods may depend on the purpose of collection, the length of a client relationship or campaign, contractual requirements, recordkeeping obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security needs, and legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.
10. Data Security
CR Advertising uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. However, no website, electronic transmission, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. How to Submit a Privacy Request
To submit a privacy request, contact CR Advertising using the information in the Contact section below and identify your request as a “Privacy Request.” Please provide enough information for us to understand and respond to your request.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. If the information at issue is controlled by one of our clients, we may refer the request to that client or coordinate with the client as required by applicable law. Where applicable law permits an authorized agent or provides an appeal right, we will process those requests as required by law.
13. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a uniform industry standard governing traditional Do Not Track signals, our website may not respond to every Do Not Track signal.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as a supported Global Privacy Control signal, we will process that signal as required by applicable law and the capabilities of our website and consent-management technologies.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website and campaigns may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services. CR Advertising does not control the privacy or security practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
